About Erika
Hello and welcome!
I'm a Colorado born and bred, Seattle-based professional actor, citizen artist, teacher, dialect-enthusiast and Pottermore-certified Gryffindor. My educational training includes a BA in Theatre ā Acting from University of Northern Colorado, and an MFA PATP candidacy and GPSS School of Drama Senator at the University of Washington. I spent six years in NYC acting and working as an actor-adjunct for the Riker's Island and NYPD Crisis Intervention Training programs, working with clinicians to teach nonviolent strategies of deescalation. I also spent five years as the Director of Online Communities with StateraArts, an organization working towards gender equity in the arts.
ā
When I'm not creating, teaching or advocating, you can find me taking unexpected naps, doing puzzles, getting inspired by fellow creatives, or satiating my wanderlust. Thanks for visiting my virtual abode!
